SP-NCR Sub-Group Executive Meeting

Minutes
1 - Roll Call: Aruna Dixit, Norma Domey, Joanne Papineau, Sushil Dixit, Stefan Palko, Shamil Cathum, Tariq Francis, and Waheed Khan were present. Mike Farbod was not feeling well and sent his regrets.
2 - Review & Approval of the Agenda: The Agenda was approved.
3 - Approval of the minutes: Minutes were not prepared for the team building minutes held on December 13, 2017 where the SP-NCR AGM held on December 6, 2017 was reviewed.
5 - Financial update: Shamil provided an update on the budget.
6 - PIPSC & SP Group Initiatives-update:
- Employee Wellness Support Program (EWSP): Waheed provided an update on the work of the three teams working on developing the EWSP. He said the plan is to complete the work by September 2018 but both Parties have the option to extend the timeline, to ensure a good document is prepared. He said the Advisory Team is preparing to start more communication with members.
- SP AGM: The Executive discussed registration for the SP AGM and potential items that might be on the Agenda.
7 - 2018 Action Plan: All
- Lunch & Learn: Sushil encouraged the Executive to plan activities in consultation with members at their work locations, and Shamil.
- SP-NCR Spring Networking Event, Saturday, April 14, 2018. Stefan provided an update on the organization of the 2018 Maple Fest event at Proulx Maple and Berry Farm, Cumberland. The Executive commended his efforts and offered to help as needed.
- Promotional Material: Shamil will explore promotional material for SP-NCR members, to promote visibility.
8 - Roundtable:
- The next Executive meeting will be held in May.
9 - Adjournment:
- The meeting was adjourned at 20:00 hrs.
