The PIPSC National Consultation Team for ESDC is soliciting interest in the position of Vice President to take the lead on the interests and concerns of NU-EMA members.
Expectations of the role will include but are not limited to:
Gathering NU-EMA issues
Liaising with Business Line Senior Management
Representing the interests of NU-EMAs across the country
Coordinating the escalation of NU-EMA issues to National tables
Assisting with the coordination and facilitation of team meetings
Liaising with Regional representatives
Member of the ESDC National Consultation Team Steering Committee
This will require evening and weekend work in addition to attending meetings and participating on Employer committees during business hours.
This process is open to all NU-EMA Stewards in good standing at ESDC. Interested stewards are requested to send a brief statement of why they wish to be the Vice President responsible for the NU-EMA portfolio and a resume of union experience to Stan Buday, President, PIPSC National Consultation Team for ESDC at sbuday@pipsc.ca. Your resume should clearly outline your union experience and in particular your experience related to formal consultation.
