Alice - Tofino - Ucluelet – Wellington.

  • Robert MacDonald, PIPSC BC/Yukon Regional Director
  • Dr Kristi Miller-Saunders, head of salmon genetics, DFO and SP member on scientific integrity and public confidence in the public service

Resolutions from members will be reviewed and voted upon.  Submit resolutions to jmollins@pipsc.ca  by May 3 or present them at the meeting.  Submitted resolutions will be sent to registered attendees one week prior to the meeting.  Resolutions presented on the floor will be subject to allowable time.

The Branch will reimburse the $3.75 parking fee, upon arrival.  No other travel expenses will be covered.

Register your attendance at the AGM by May 4 with jmollins@pipsc.ca, with your name and workplace, if you intend to come in person or via videoconference, if you are bringing guests, and any dietary requirements. 

Guests may be accommodated for $25 each, depending on space.  There is no cost for PIPSC members to attend. 

Should you register and become unable to attend, please advise by May 10, if possible – but late notices appreciated too.

NOTICE OF ELECTION

The Branch’s purpose is to engage members from various groups in the region, providing information, support and advocacy for local members.  Our executive meets 4-5 times per year.  Travel and meal allowances are available for these meetings. 

Nine positions are up for election: vice-president, secretary, and 7 members at large. Vice-president and secretary are a 2-year terms, and members-at-large are one year.  Regular members and retired members are eligible.
