On behalf of all PIPSC members, I’d like to express our support and encouragement to our fellow members and all of those currently affected by the ravages of the forest fires in British Columbia this summer.
Our members, including our nurses and members of our British Columbia First Nations Health Authority Group, have been directly impacted as a result of the fires and community evacuations.
I’d like to sincerely thank our members and staff in the BC/Yukon Region who have already pitched in to help.
We applaud you and the extraordinary responders who work tirelessly, long days and weeks to save homes and protect communities.
