Retired Members Guild – Fraser Valley Chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Tuesday April 17, 2018 – Noon to 2 PM

Dear Member,
Our Chapter is at a cross-roads and we need your input. We live in busy times, even in ‘retirement’, and there are many ways to stay informed with Institute activities and matters related to retired members. Over the past few years our attendance has dropped and we are wondering if we still need to have a physical chapter in the Valley?
At this year’s meeting, we will be deciding the future of the Chapter and how to proceed.
As such, we wish to invite you to attend the AGM of the Fraser Valley Chapter. It will be held at the Dragon Fort Restaurant in Abbotsford on Wednesday, April 17, 2018, from noon to 2:00 pm. Lunch, coffee, tea and soft drinks will be provided.
The agenda and minutes of the 2017 AGM will be sent to you two weeks before the meeting. Currently we have only two executive members and the Bylaws require that we have three. We are hoping that we will be able to fill this vacancy through an election at the AGM. If the vacancy is not filled the Chapter will become dormant.
