Annual General Meeting (AGM) Agenda
March 9, 2023, 530pm
Ela! Dartmouth Crossing, NS
1. Meeting was called to order.
2. Welcome and Introductions: Selena welcomed the participants to the meeting. There were a
total of 18 members in attendance.
3. Approval of Agenda. Moved and seconded. Carried.
4. Adoption of the minutes of 2021 AGM. The minutes of the previous AGM were reviewed. There
were no questions. Motioned to accept and seconded. Carried.
5. Business arising from the minutes: There was no business arising from the review of the
minutes.
6. Report of the President: Provided by Jennifer Cantwell.
7. Annual Financial Report: Outgoing treasurer (Heather Carr) was unable to join, but the report
was provided in advance. Update and balance in account was provided. Motioned to accept and
seconded. Carried.
8. Update from SH Executive: Roles up for election include President, Vice Preseident, Secretary,
Treasurer, Members at Large. Descriptions of the roles and related responsibilities (found in the
by-laws) were read.
9. Election of Officers: Process was run by James McGrath.

10. Bargaining Update: Selena presented a brief update on the SH Group Bargaining Proposal that
has been presented to Treasury Board, and the difference between the Central Table and the SH
Group Proposals. A brief Q & A. There are plans for a more detailed bargaining update to the
subgroup once the bargaining team is further along in the process.
11. Round table: Nothing new to add.
