The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by Christin LeDrew
Motion to adopt agenda presented by James Vey, Gerard Grace seconded – All in favour motion carried
Review and motion to accept St. John’s subgroup previous meeting minutes
Clayton Long presented motion to accept, Ruth Grace seconded – All in favour motion carried
Action Items
Christine reached out to Stan Buday, Rob Scott and J.P. Leduc to attend our November 25, 2021 virtual information session
Finance Update –
TBD at a later date (Sherry Browne was a last minute cancellation)

Virtual session.
Discussion was had that we should have questions ready for our invitees.
We came up with the following:
- What is the plan to mobilize members given the new workplace environment?
- Given the last round of bargaining, what is your opinion on the way forward for the next round?
- Do we foresee the same conflict as the last round (PIPSC / Bargaining unit)
- Who will be the main communicator for this round – The bargaining Unit or PIPSC?
- What has been your overall experiences with & your thoughts about the CS to IT conversion process

December 1, 2021 – Subgroup Presidents – half day session on Bargaining, Conciliation, Arbitration and the right to Strike
December 2-3, 2021 – CS executive meeting – Bargaining Preparation
January 12-13, 2022 – Bargaining Preparation
January 14-15, 2022 – Subgroup President’s meeting in Montreal
Atlantic Update
November 19-20 Executive training in Halifax
Regional Training Committee offering it.
Christine will reach out to seek interest.
Tree Planting
Saturday November 13th - 10:00 AM – Paradise Elementary
125 Trees to be planted – 2-3 hour Event

National AGM Update
November 3-4, 2021
Atlantic Resolutions defeated on the floor
There were many resolutions either voted down or ruled out of order
Mental health resolutions sent to the Training, Education and mentoring Committee for review

Tentatively set for December 7, 2021
