An update for negotiations will be presented at our AGM this year.
CHANGES TO THE CONSTITUTION
The MAGE constitution was amended at the 2018 AGM, and was passed by the PIPSC Board of Directors on December 7, 2018. The current MAGE constitution may be viewed at:

Changes to the group constitution may be presented, in writing, to the Group Executive in accordance with Article 10 of the constitution.
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The Manitoba Association of Government Engineers (MAGE) will be holding elections for the Executive at its 2019 Annual General Meeting.
A legal interpretation was sought by MAGE from PIPSC regarding the positions that are up for elections this year, based upon the new constitution. This year the following positions are up for election:
- President
- Secretary, and
- 1 Member-at-Large
Any Regular or Retired member of MAGE is eligible to stand for election. In accordance with article 4.2 only Regular members are eligible to vote in the election.
In accordance with Article 7 – this electronic mail serves as Notice for Nominations. Please submit nominations in writing to the Elections Committee Char: Vice President, Cory Graham at Cgraham@pipsc.ca by April 20, 2019.
Nominations from the floor are allowed in accordance with Section 7.4, however in that case, any individuals nominated from the floor of the meeting will have to provide proof of membership in good standing with PIPSC (such as membership card). The election and vote will occur at the Annual General Meeting on April 30, 2019.
If you are interested in standing for election, please be prepared to say a few words of introduction at the time of the election.
