Hamilton AFS Subgroup Elections
Call for Nominations
The current mandate for your Hamilton AFS Subgroup Executive positions will end at our April 5, 2018 Annual General Meeting. Therefore, our By-Laws require us to call for nominations. The successful candidates will be elected or acclaimed for two-year terms commencing at the end of our Annual General Meeting.
Nominations are now invited for the following positions:
- President (one position)
- Vice-President (one position)
- Treasurer (one position)
- Secretary (one position)
- Member-at-large (seven positions)
To be a candidate a person must be a Regular Member in good standing of the Hamilton AFS Subgroup. Voting, if necessary, will take place at our Annual General Meeting on April 5, 2018. You must be in attendance to cast a vote.
The “Nomination Form” is attached (see over). Nominations must be submitted in writing to Justin Cyriac (905) 529-9004 or Jonathan Bilton (905) 570-8215 by the end of business Thursday, March 29, 2018. Candidates should contact either Rehan or Jonathan to confirm receipt of their nomination form prior to the deadline.
If no nominations are received for an elected position by the deadline of March 29, 2018, then nominations for that position only will be extended to the floor of the AGM on April 5, 2018.
