We invite you to come and meet the members of the Professional Institute of the Public
Service of Canada at the Shawinigan-Sud Tax Centre. We will start with a social
gathering at 5:00 pm at the Shawinigan community centre. The Annual General Meeting
will be held at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by a meal (pizza or chicken). Come and
meet the members of your local executive and take this opportunity to discuss with
them. Jean Couillard, regional representative of the AFS group, will be our guest. He
will be available to answer your questions.

To run for a position, the candidate must be a regular member of the Shawinigan AFS
Sub-Group and must be or become a steward within the next year.
The duties of the Sub-Group Executive, including the positions listed above, are listed in
Section 7 of the proposed Shawinigan AFS Sub-Group By-Laws. You can get a copy of
the By-Laws from the Election Chair.

The Chair of the Elections Committee is Manfouss Lawani.
You have until Wednesday, March 22, 2023, to apply.

The 1-year terms will end on March 22, 2024.
