This year’s virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
The AGM brings together delegates representing the full PIPSC membership with the purpose of PIPSC policies and setting the organization’s strategic direction. It is conducted under parliamentary rules, where issues are presented, debated and voted upon by the delegates. Delegates represent the Board of Directors, bargaining groups and regional bodies that together make up PIPSC.
AV Group members who wish to participate as delegates must complete the online pre-registration form below before noon on Thursday, October 8, 2020. No late registrations will be accepted.
At the AGM, members determine how our union will be directed to proceed in the following year.
A group delegate is a regular member who volunteers to participate as a representative of the group; the member must be accepted by that group’s executive to act as a delegate on the group’s behalf. Although we encourage all AV Group members to consider being delegates, the number of representatives is limited to 27 including the 12 group executives, according to PIPSC by-laws.
