My name is Linda Howes. As of June 1, 2018, I am your Prairie/NWT Representative on the National Executive of the Audit, Commerce and Purchasing Group (AV), representing AU-CO-PG Classification members within the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC).

As the Regional Representative my main responsibility as per our Constitution By-Laws is as follows;
6.7.5 Regional Representative To act as liaison between the Group Executive and their Regional members, represent the interests of the members, assist in organizing and maintaining Sub-group representation, and perform such duties as may be assigned by the Executive.
Furthermore, since we have two Subgroups in the Prairies/NWT Region, Winnipeg and Saskatoon, I want to:
- To be a resource to AV Prairie/NWT Members and Stewards. This includes providing information to members and stewards, answering questions and bringing forward their concerns or issues during AV national executive meetings (held 5 times a year), to facilitate and/or provide lunch and learns or presentation on topics of member interest, and
- To be a resource to areas not currently represented by an AV Subgroup or wanting to organize regional AV subgroups.
