Your bargaining team recently met to continue drafting proposals for the employer.
We will be finalizing our package of bargaining proposals over the next few weeks, except on pay, which will be finalized in 2023. The volatile economic situation and the high cost of living means we are waiting for new and updated information to help us create our pay demands.
Important dates:
- November 2022: proposals will be exchanged with the employer. We will also be publishing them on the PIPSC CP Group web page.
- December 6 to 8 2022: first meeting with the employer.
Future bargaining dates for 2023 will be announced when they’re scheduled.
CP Group leaders meet on a regular basis with the leaders of other bargaining teams to strategize on the negotiations. Together, the 18 groups in the federal public service under the Treasury Board have agreed to bring a number of issues to a Central Bargaining table, similar to the last round of negotiations.
Your bargaining team is committed to keeping all members informed about the process of negotiations and the progress we make at the table. Check your email regularly and refer back to the website for future updates. To get the latest updates, you can also follow our CP Bargaining Facebook group.
Bargaining “Lunch and Learn” sessions are also being scheduled to take place in the new year through your local CP Sub-Group.
If you have any questions, please email them to cpgroupbargaining@gmail.com.
In solidarity,
Your CP Bargaining Team
