This year’s virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
The AGM brings together delegates representing the full PIPSC membership with the purpose of reviewing the Institute’s policies and setting the organization’s key directions. It is a meeting, conducted under parliamentary procedure, where issues are presented, debated and voted upon by the delegates. Delegates in attendance represent the Board of Directors, bargaining groups and constituent bodies that together, form PIPSC.
CS Group members who wish to participate as delegates must complete the pre-registration form below by September 25, 2020. No late registrations will be accepted.
At the AGM, members determine how our union will be directed to proceed in the following year.
A Group delegate is a regular member who volunteers to participate as a representative of the Group; the member must be accepted by that Group’s executive to act as a delegate on the Group’s behalf. Although we encourage all CS Group members to consider being delegates, the number of representatives we are permitted to accept is limited, according to PIPSC by-laws.
