NCR Statistics Canada IT Sub-Group – Elections
The Statistics Canada Ottawa IT Sub-Group Executive Committee is composed of 1 president and up-to 10 members-at-large. All the positions are normally for a 2 year term with half the members-at-large being up for election each year.
THIS YEAR WE ARE CALLING FOR NOMINATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE STATISTICS CANADA OTTAWA IT COMMUNITY FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS ON THE STATISTICS CANADA OTTAWA IT SUB-GROUP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
- 1 Positions for President of the Sub-Group
- 5 2-year positions for member-at-large of the Sub-Group Executive Committee
- 5 1-year positions for member-at-large of the Sub-Group Executive Committee
Only Regular and Retired members are eligible to hold office, nominate members for positions on the Sub-Group Executive Committee and vote for Executive members and on resolutions. If you are not presently a member of PIPSC, please contact a PIPSC steward.
Nominations must be in writing or by email and must be received by Tony Goddard on or before noon on Friday June 30, 2023. You may nominate yourself. If you wish to nominate a member other than yourself, please ensure that this member is willing to hold office. Nominations can also be made from the floor at the AGM.
The election will be held during the Statistics Canada Ottawa IT Sub-Group Annual General Meeting on July 5, 2023.
