News and Updates

Shared Services Canada Holiday Event

We once again took part in the annual Shared Services Canada Holiday Event on December 11th, 2024, at the Joseph Shepard Building (4900 Yonge). Executive members of the Toronto IT-Subgroup helped to fund and organize the party which drew many of our IT Members to engage in some festive fun.

Festive cakes and a gingerbread house building competition organized by Karla Yelland and Judy Chow.

Coffee with Employment Social Development Canada IT Members

Thanks to Robert Mertens and Mathan Mahalingam of our Toronto IT Subgroup Executive for setting up two-member engagement events. Coffee meet-and-greets were held on December 12th, 2024, and February 20th, 2025. It was a real pleasure to meet members and introduce ourselves.
