Below is a list of activities your group executive has been working on.
1. New Collective Agreement
Our new collective agreement (Attached) is now posted on Central and soon will be posted on our PIPSC web Page. During the pandemic it is difficult to receive all appropriate signatures, so it was agreed to release an unsigned version until the process is complete. We apologize for the delay. Rest assured the signatures are only a formality and our collective agreement is in full effect since February of this year.
2. Bi-Weekly Consultation meetings with Senior Management
We continue to participate in meetings with senior management regarding COVID 19 and its consequential impact on NAV CANADA and our members. We have our next scheduled meeting on August 27 at 15:00 to get an update on the financial situation at NAV CANADA and discuss the wage deferral agreement that expires in September
3. Consultation meetings with the NAV CANADA Bargaining Agents Association (NCBAA)
We met in July to provide an update to members of the NCBAA on our recent activities. Our next scheduled meeting is August 25.
4. Weekly Group Executive meetings
We continue to meet on a weekly basis for 30 minutes discuss recent feedback and interactions with members and stewards. Our next full day meeting will be on September 4th with a special invitation to the subgroups over lunch for planning purposes.
5. Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive (ERI) Program
The voluntary program was launched April 30th and is ongoing with phase five currently underway. The completion of phase five will conclude the ERI Process. As of Monday August 17, 2020, a total of 202 employees and managers have accepted the incentive.
