NOTICE OF HALIFAX NR SUBGROUP ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Halifax NR Sub-Group will hold its 2025 Annual General meeting on Wednesday, 22 Oct 2025 at the Old Triangle Irish Alehouse at 5136 Prince Street Halifax, NS from 5:00 -7:30 PM. https://www.oldtriangle.com/welcome

Dinner will be provided along with refreshment and door prizes. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow professionals from different federal departments in a relaxed social setting. This is also an opportunity to discuss issues and exchange ideas in areas of common concern and meet new friends. This year we will again have two representatives from our National Executive, Mike Pauley (National NR Atlantic Region Rep) and Gary Corbett (National NR President) in attendance. Gary and Mike will be onsite to answer any questions you might have with respect to the NR Group and this presents a great opportunity to hear from our National Executive.

We will also be seeking nominations and electing interested members to serve as Members at Large to the HFX NR Sub-Group executive. I would invite you all to consider getting involved and serving as part of the Sub-Group. You can nominate yourself, a friend or forward your name to myself and I’ll be more than happy to put your name forward. The following positions are up for election:
