The RO/RCO group executive has begun preparations for the next round of collective bargaining and we are requesting volunteers to join the RO/RCO Group bargaining team.

While some seats are reserved for members of the group executive, there’s an opportunity for some of you to be part of the team. Together we can make a difference by improving the working conditions of all ROs and RCOs.

Although participation requires a significant time commitment and some training from PIPSC, this is a great opportunity to learn about the needs of your colleagues and NRC.

If you are interested, please send an email to rorco@pipsc.ca by May 23, 2025, with a short paragraph describing why you are interested in this opportunity and what relevant skills and/or experience you would bring to the team.

The executive aims to build a bargaining team representative of the RO/RCO Group. This includes geography and employment type (e.g. research, project management, business development, IRAP, etc.), in addition to other equity, diversity and inclusion considerations. We want to ensure concerns and needs from across NRC are voiced, so priority will be given to applications ensuring adequate representation.

Better together!

NRC RO/RCO Group President, PIPSC
