We’re starting to prepare for the next round of bargaining by putting together the OSFI Group Bargaining Team. We still have 1 position available.

Applications to join the bargaining team must be submitted by 5:00 PM ET on October 1st, 2021.
As per the OSFI by-laws, the Group Executive will appoint the bargaining team members based on the recommendations of the OSFI Chair. To be as representative and equitable as possible, the OSFI Executive will consider the following criteria in its selection process:
- Availability
- Diversity of the team, including representation of equity-seeking groups, language, classification, department and regional diversification
- Communication skills
- Relevant leadership experience, including in labour relations
- Capacity to work within a team
- Experience as a steward or in the interpretation/application of the collective agreement will be an asset
Please note that this role requires a significant time commitment for team members: approximately 3-4 days every 6 to 8 weeks with occasional work after hours or on weekends. This work will start in the fall of 2021 and could extend for 2 or more years.
Interested members must be committed to the process by dedicating their time, making decisions by consensus as often as possible, representing all OSFI members regardless of classification, and respecting the confidentiality of bargaining.
