Responsibilities

Representing the Group in meetings with the employer.
Calling Group Executive meetings and chairing such meetings.
Ensuring Group representation on any PIPSC committee, council or task force in which the Group has an interest.
Managing overall budgets of over $275,000 annually.
Representing members facing the employer regarding grievances and appeals through formal and informal dispute management and facilitating mediation and conciliation sessions on behalf of members.
Ex-officio member of the Collective Bargaining Team negotiating with the Treasury Board Secretariat and member of the Steering Committee on Classification Reform.
On many occasions, I organized our Group’s participation at Government Technology Event Canada and the Conseil Fédéral du Québec en Technologie de l’Information, ensuring visibility.
Speaking in front of thousands of people; I also organized three rallies in downtown Ottawa, in coordination with the rest of the country.
Organizing and performing hundreds of information/training sessions across the country in both official languages.
