The Pay Equity Committee (PEC), consisting of PIPSC members and staff, non-represented members, and Destination Canada employer representatives, had its first PEC meeting on December 12, 2023. The PEC will continue to meet into 2024 to meet the obligations of the federal Pay Equity Act, which requires a final pay equity plan to be posted by September 3, 2024.
