- Financial Report
Motion to approve Treasurer’s 2020 report. Moved by Steve V. Seconded by RB.
Motion to approve 2021 budget. Moved by RB. Seconded by JJ. AL,
Treasurer gave an overview of the Report and 2021 budget. Not many expenses. Awaiting some
reimbursement. Our major expenses are related to office supplies, Executive meetings, union mobilization and bargaining. The projected 2022 budget presented by AL.

Most issues remained informal. They were able to be resolved.
- Elections Report – RB
No nominations for VP have come forward. SV has been acting VP but has declined nomination and to continue as acting VP.
Action: Send another request to members about possible VP interest.

Legislation
- Bill 124 UPDATE
- Led by Ontario Fed of Labour (OFL)
- Meeting held by PIPSC office just this week
- Evidence presented to Judge was well received and now the rest of this sits with his decision.
- Expectation of an answer – 6 months…so approx. March 2023
- 2 Scenarios
- 1 – Justice upholds legislation. If so – we will appeal.
- 2 – Justice says unconstitutional
- May stipulate a remedy or put back to negotiations for the monetary piece
- This would allow retro pay plus allow for re bargaining to occur because there is language in our contract for this!
- Public attention and support from PIPSC members who are not Ontario provincial

- 2 days done – again January 2023
- Only scratched the surface on the 2 days in the Fall

Health and Safety – HS Rep
- Challenging year with WPV incidents and AOB
- Got through major part of Covid
- Employer has done a major Hazardous Assessment Review for every department of the hospital.
- Tina worked on this for our manager.
- This was a well needed document
- Policies and training lacking
- Improved department orientation

- Job Classification – possible changes
- Dosimetry and MRT roles and duties
- Defining on call
- Machine failure plan
Role of the Members in our Group
- Continue to participate on the workplace committees you are on and communicate back to Tina or one of the Executive members with any concerns, please.
- Become more familiar with the contract
