Appointment of Departmental Champions

Dear colleagues and friends,

The Deputy Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada appointed new Champions this week. Champions are responsible for bringing strong leadership and visibility to advance files at the senior management table and with all employees. They accomplish this by raising awareness of Government of Canada and ECCC priorities and by supporting program leads.

I was re-appointed the Co-champion for Respectful and Healthy Workplace and Mental Health, to represent unions, on the unanimous recommendation of all Bargaining Agents.

Please read the announcement below.

Stay safe, stay well!

Respectfully,

Waheed Khan

President, National Consultation Team
