Dear Global Affairs Canada stewards,
PIPSC is selecting a president for the Global Affairs Canada National Consultation Team (NCT) for a 2-
year term.
The president’s duties are outlined in the PIPSC Policy on Consultation. You must also be free to travel
to Ottawa as required if you live outside the National Capital Region.
All stewards in good standing at GAC can apply. If you’re interested, send the following to Taya Van Dyke
at tvandyke@pipsc.ca :
● brief statement of why you wish to be NCT President
● résumé of union experience, in particular experience related to formal consultation
Submit your application by November 7 th , 2022.
If there’s more than one applicant, the résumés will be forwarded to all stewards at GAC, who will be
asked to express a preference among the applicants. The PIPSC Executive Committee will make the
appointment, taking into account the input from the GAC stewards and the NCT.
