- Branch hosting steward council in 2023 in Winnipeg
- Leadership training this week Thursday and Friday in Edmonton
- External consultant providing the training
- Regional Executive meeting held two weeks ago
- Labour school in April will feature anti-racism training. Location TBA
- Prairie Regional Council scheduled for 2023 in Regina
Action item: To revise/ update selection process for delegates for AGMs so same people do not end up going all the time.

a) Ideas for Prairie Region gift basket for Legacy fundraiser at AGM – local MB item
Prairie Region obligated to provide $X basket for AGM. Looking for regional items. Ideas, Bothwell cheese, Morden’s chocolates, Indigenous hand crafted items, etc.
b) Nominations for Young Professionals committee from branch. Executive to provide names. Looking for members under 40 years of age. One from each Branch. They do not need to be a steward.
c) Steward Council 2023 Winnipeg WSMB hosting. Downtown hotel TBD

- Swag item (Kevin to ask Sushil about SP sweaters cost), other ideas included ball caps, toque with logo.
d) Region looking into roll up banners.
Discussion on stand up flags specific for the branch. Branch logo on one side and PIPSC logo on the other side.
Motion to authorize expenditure up to $X to purchase outdoor visibility banners for the Branch.
