So many of our members have reached out to PIPSC Stewards during the last few months that it’s difficult to choose the best topics to benefit our members at our next AGM.
As President of the Simcoe-Grey branch for PIPSC, please accept this as my personal invitation for you to join us at our AGM on April 11, 2023. We hope to provide a method for you to gain some insight into these issues and any local concerns that Simcoe Grey branch members may have wanted to voice.
DATE: APRIL 11TH 2023. - Please R.S.V.P. Before March 28th.
LOCATION: Traditions Banquet Hall, 142 John St, Barrie ON.
TIME: 5:30 PM – Meet and Greet. Meeting, Dinner and AFS elections to follow.
The venue is now different from our last few AGMs. The format will be similar to the past and we will continue to present timely and relevant information related to many issues including:
- return to the office
- contract negotiations
- retirement options,
- answers to questions from the many new members in our workplace
HAVE your say:
· The AFS Subgroup will be holding elections for some of their Executive Committee positions.
· Amendments to the Branch By-Laws will be presented and voted on.
· Ask questions and become informed.
MEET your fellow Branch members and invited guests: Pick up your registration package complete with welcome package including a complimentary drink ticket and a door prize ticket at the sign in desk. Network with your fellow members and invited guest speakers at the Meet and Greet and during dinner.
ENJOY a great meal: Choices include: breads; salads; beef; chicken; and vegetarian. Dietary specific concern plates will be custom. And there will be dessert with coffee and tea.
HEAR what’s happening: Branch and Subgroup News, relevant current info.
WIN Door Prizes: PIPSC branded and non-PIPSC branded items will be available.
Other Useful Information
AGM Attendance Costs: AGM participants are responsible to bear the costs associated with travel to and from the AGM. The AGM, meals, and prizes are covered by the local Executive groups.
