Financial Statements |
As the previous treasurer, Barbara Aweryn, had resigned in July of 2021, Raj presented the financial statements. There was some discussion of how funds are obtained from PIPSC, and how our positive bank balance affects that. Financial Statements accepted as presented. MSC |

Elections |
At the last AGM, seven members were elected to the executive, with specific positions to be filled at the next executive meeting (today). Terms are two years, with the President and Treasurer elected in one year and the Vice-President and Secretary elected in the next. Due to fewer meetings in the last three years, today’s slate elected the President and Treasurer for one year, and the Vice-President and Secretary for two years. All four positions were acclaimed. The three remaining executive members continue as Members-at-Large. |

Round-table |
Some discussion of RMG representation at NJC. Also, discussion of information available to members nearing retirement or recently retired. For example, do these members know of the benefits of joining NAFR and getting Johnson/MEDOC travel medical insurance? Suggestion to invite regional or national PIPSC representative and/or Don Burns to next executive meeting for follow-up. Executive members live from North Vancouver to White Rock. Discussion of more central location for the next executive meeting. |
