Okanagan Branch members are invited to the Annual General Meeting and Elections 2025.

When: Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

Where: Sumac Ridge Golf and Country Club, 17333 Sumac Ridge Drive, Summerland, BC

Schedule:

5:30 PM: meet and greet

6:00 PM: dinner

7:00 PM: welcome and business meeting

Please RSVP before September 8, 2025, by emailing Philip Mantler, Branch President, at Pmantler@pipsc.ca. An email will be sent to confirm your dinner seat.

There is no cost for Okanagan Branch members to attend the AGM, however, dinner seating is limited to 55. 

A member’s spouse or partner is also welcome to attend the AGM dinner at a cost of $15 each, if there are enough dinner seats available. To add your partner or spouse’s name to the wait list, please email Philip Mantler after September 8, 2025. You’ll receive an email confirmation if a seat is available.

Elections:

There will be an election for Vic-President, Secretary, and three Members-at-large. Please submit all nominations to Philip Mantler, Branch President, at Pmantler@pipsc.ca by Friday, September 12, 2025.

Proposed Agenda:

  1. Welcome and introduction of Branch Executive
  2. Acceptance of the agenda
  3. Adoption of the minutes 2024 AGM
  4. Financial review of the year 2024
  5. Adoption of 2026 budget
  6. Nominations and elections:
    1. Call for nominations for the positions of Vice-President (2-year), Secretary (2-year), 3 Members-at-large (2-year)
    2. Election
    3. Motion to destroy the ballots
  7. Guest speakers:
    1. Sean O’Reilly, President, PIPSC
    2. Morgan Cranny, Regional Director, BC/Yukon Region, PIPSC
  8. Question and answer session
  9. Adjournment

The draft minutes from the 2024 AGM are posted on the PIPSC website. Please review them prior to the meeting as a limited number of printed copies will be available.

Reasons to attend:

  • meet other professionals in the Okanagan Region
  • participate in the Okanagan Branch business
  • get an update from PIPSC President Sean O’Reilly and Regional Director Morgan Cranny on issues affecting members
  • win door prizes
