1. Registration / Meet and Greet
Attending members were provided with a registration package and then had a chance to mingle with fellow members before the meeting started.

2. Opening - Call to Order / Approve PSGB AGM 2018 Agenda / Accept AGM 2017 Minutes / President’s Report
Bryan Pellerin, Branch President, called the AGM to order at 5:20 pm. He welcomed the Branch members and guests including ON Region Branch Liaison, Yvonne Snaddon-Bilbija, for coming and recognized the CS Sub-Group and AFS Sub-Group for agreeing to hold their respective AGM simultaneously with the Branch AGM. He recognized the efforts of the Executive Committee for their support and efforts throughout the past year and for everyone who helped put the AGM together. Bryan reviewed the agenda and asked for approval of the PSGB AGM 2017 minutes which were approved with no comment. PSGB Pres then provided the year in review report and highlighted that the Branch by-laws were undergoing final review before being adopted by the Branch.
The AGM slides will be made available to Branch members.

3. Financial Report/Approval
Grant Heryet, Treasurer, presented the Branch and CS Sub-Group financial reports highlighting the expenditures, forecasts and the balances. Both financial reports were approved.

Meeting was paused to allow attendees to eat and network.

5. Guest Speaker – Stan Buday, CS Group President
Stan briefed about the status of collective bargaining of various groups within the Branch, indicating that clearer language was being sought in some agreements, and provided information about the status of the Employee Wellness Support Plan and encouraged members to view the online video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tBRfdxEapI

6. CS Subgroup Report
Mike Doll, Vice-President CS Sub-Group, presented the CS Sub-Group year in review.

7. AFS Subgroup Report
Janice Rush, AFS Sub-Group Rep, provided the year in review info.

8. Guest Speaker – Glenn Maxwell, National DND Consultation President and Advisory Council Director
Glenn provided an overview of the Cannabis policy in DND/CAF and focussed on issues that could become pertinent during implementation of the policy.

9. Guest Speaker – Mental Health Awareness
Local elementary school teachers, James Carson and Aaryn Coutts, provided information including a personal story that has motivated them to raise funds for the mental health wing of a regional hospital by cycling across Canada. The funds will be used to allow students to continue their education while seeking in-patient treatment for mental health issues.
