NOTICE OF 2019 AGM — QUÉBEC CITY NR SUB-GROUP
Hello everyone,
All engineers, architects and surveyors who are members of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) in Québec City are invited to attend the 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Québec City NR Sub-Group (SG NR VQ).
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., at Restaurant Pacini, 1280 Lebourgneuf Boulevard, Québec City. A meal and a drink will be served.

At the AGM, we will discuss the changes brought to the new collective agreement and the ENG career development and progression plan at DRDC - Centre de recherches de Valcartier. We would like to share the process followed so more departments could implement it and highlight the work done by ENGs, ARs or SURs. At PISPC in particular, due to the number of NRs (38 members) they have, we would like to see a departmental team introduce a career progression program similar to the one we have at DND (33 members). A synergistic collaboration between the teams would give a better leverage to everyone (“Better Together”).
