1. Marcel called the meeting to order at 16:50 hrs.

2. Vice President presented the minutes from the last meeting,Mar 2021. Minutes were reviewed and Eva motioned to accept, seconded by Christina. Nil opposed.

a. Treasurer’s Report: An update on our balance was given.

b. Secretary’s Report: Discussion took place on the new members of our Branch as well as the retirement of two members.

c. President’s Report: Nothing new to report due to Covid. Marcel mentioned the need for succession planning and having a new president take over the Branch.

a. Eva attended the ARC this past Spring, virtually.

5. NEW BUSINESS
a. Annual General Meeting–Planning of the AGM took place. 28 September is booked and an invite has already gone out. Membership update will take place at the AGM, especially for home email addresses.

b. Lunch & Learn – planning of a lunch and learn for the 13 Oct took place. PIPSC & You will be discussed with buffet style Donairs and Pizza. Eva to deal with the food and Marcel to deal with booking the location.

c. Theatre Night – preplanning discussion for November 10 or 17th.

d. Retirement Gifts – Christina to purchase gift cards for Retirees. Marcel to contact Harry Vincent for his choice.
