On behalf of the Atlantic Regional Executive of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC), I am extending an invitation to you as a member of the Halifax or Halifax DND Branch to sit in as an observer at our upcoming Atlantic Regional Executive meeting being held in Dartmouth. The meeting will take place Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Delta Dartmouth and will start at 8:30 am and usually finishes between 4:30 - 5:00 pm. If you are unable to commit to the full day, attending a portion of the meeting is appreciated as well. We are limited to two observers at the meeting.
This invitation is part of our succession planning initiative. As an Institute member under 40, we are hoping to encourage our young professionals to become involved or more involved in the Institute.
Attendees are encouraged to take part in the discussions, your input is welcome. The only restriction is as an observer you would not be entitled to vote on the motions. Lunch is included.
