BACKGROUND:
There is a clear objective to recognize the outstanding contributions of a BC/Yukon PIPSC member active on an executive or in committee work of a constituent body for the Region.
GUIDELINES:
- All Executive members of constituent bodies in good standing
- Nominations by members or EROs
- Once in a lifetime award
- On an executive/committee for at least 2 years
- Deadline for nominations is April 17, 2020. Any nominations received after this date will be forwarded to the next year.

All nominations will be reviewed by the Awards Committee. The Committee will validate the names of the nominees, assess the merits and present a ranked list of the nominees to the BC/Yukon Regional Executive for a final decision.
This award will be presented at the Regional Council dinner.
The award will consist of a gift valued at $200.00, a certificate, and a picture of winner receiving the award. The winner’s name will be added to the Executive of the Year award perpetual plaque that includes all previous award recipients, and is kept in PIPSC Vancouver office.
Pursuant to PIPSC policy an award will not be awarded if, in the opinion of the Awards Committee, no submission worthy of an award has been received.
