Ottawa, ON – January 17, 2025 –  NRCan PIPSC members enjoyed a well-deserved celebration of their hard work and dedication at the 2025 Employee Appreciation Lunch.  The event, held at the Mandarin Restaurant on Katimavik Road in Kanata, provided a fantastic opportunity for colleagues and PIPSC stewards to connect in person.

Organized and co-sponsored by the PIPSC NRCan Branch and the PIPSC NRCan NR Sub-group, the lunch saw over fifty members gather to enjoy delicious food and lively conversation. PIPSC NRCan Branch President Stephane Audet kicked off the event with opening remarks and surprised attendees with a special gift: tote bags featuring the newly printed PIPSC logo.

The event was a resounding success, with attendees expressing positive feedback both during and after the lunch. Many members who were unable to secure a spot also shared their enthusiasm for future events. The appreciation lunch served as a valuable opportunity to recognize the contributions and hard work of NRCan PIPSC members, fostering a positive work environment and demonstrating the value placed on their dedication. The event highlighted the strong sense of community within the NRCan PIPSC group and the commitment to recognizing member contributions.
