Only open for Members of the Ottawa South Branch.
Our Branch is pleased to host a 2.0 hour Virtual event with an English Workshop on Conflict Prevention & Resolution using Emotional Intelligence. As well as presenting this Workshop, PIPSC VP Norma Domey will be discussing the important changes introduced by Bill C-65 which came into effect on January 1, 2021. What is Bill C-65? It’s the new federal anti-harassment and violence legislation aimed to help keep Canadian federal workers, especially the most vulnerable, safe. The bill requires public service employers to change their approach on how they address workplace harassment and violence. It also allows them to take all forms of workplace harassment and violence into consideration.
The Workshop on Conflict Prevention & Resolution using Emotional Intelligence will explore how understanding and using emotional intelligence can help us get more from life at home, work or play.... This workshop features ways to use Emotional Intelligence for self-improvement, creating high performing teams, and developing truly visionary leadership and improving relationships with others. Please join Norma Domey, M.Sc., DTM, National Vice President PIPSC as she shares how to better perceive emotions, use emotions, understand emotions, and manage emotions.
A French workshop is in the planning stages.
