The Prairie/NWT Regional Training Committee is very pleased to announce the 2020 Regional Labour School, consisting of 3 full days of instruction.  Our training event will take place in Edmonton, from April 30 until May 2 at the Matrix Hotel.  Stewards will be placed into either Module 1 or 2 based on their years of experience, training history, and distribution between departments, groups, and locations. All stewards will participate in Module 3.

Module 1 (2 Days)

Stewards will be able to identify the steps in and intent of the progressive discipline process. Appreciate the steward’s role in the disciplinary process. Support members facing discipline using effective interviewing, communication and investigation skills. Demonstrate an ability to assess discipline-related situations and to determine additional processes that may be required.
