Voters Kit for the 2023 Election to the NAV CANADA Group Executive

This is your voter’s kit for the election of the NAV CANADA Group Executive. Voting will take place by electronic means only.

As per your group By-laws: articles 7.6 - 7.7 

Your personal ballot key will be sent to your email on May 1, 2023 and voting will be closed on May 26, 2023

Fellow Members, 

We would like to announce that the Memorandum of Agreement has been approved and ratified by the membership. 

During the ratification process, 296 out of 395 members casted a vote, for a participation rate of 75%. From this number, 238 (80%) members voted in favour of accepting the tentative agreement and 58 (20%) voted to reject the offer.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the vote on the ratification of the employer's proposed Memorandum of Agreement is currently on hold. We should be able to proceed with the vote shortly. Members will be informed at that time.

NAV CANADA Group Election results are in!

The NAV CANADA Election Committee has verified the results for the 2022 elections.

The following candidates have been elected to our group executive, and will take office on Monday June 6, 2022:

  • Michael Simard – President
  • Todor Gurov- Vice President
  • Hicham Abou Hamad– Treasurer
