Hello members,
The CRPEG bargaining team met with the company on February 23, 24, 25, 2021. The focus of this session of negotiations was on non-monetary items. Both parties presented their detailed proposals accompanied by close examinations and discussions. The nature of the negotiation sessions has been one of mutual understanding, respect, and collaboration. Good progress had been achieved. As a result, parties are preparing to bring forth monetary topics to the table soon.
In preparation for the upcoming negotiations, your bargaining team will continue to meet with PIPSC’s Pay Analyst on March 4, 2021.
The next session of negotiations has been scheduled for March 16, 17, 18, 2021.
Following directives from PIPSC, CNL and Government of Ontario public health guidelines, negotiations are taking place remotely. Network bandwidth and internet speed limitations continue to be a challenge.
