Dear Members,
On May 29, your CRPEG bargaining team received a revised final offer for settlement from the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.
An electronic vote will be held in order to ratify this agreement. All members in good standing with PIPSC will receive the voting instructions by email.
The voting will be open from June 17 at 5:00 pm EST to June 19, 2025 at 12:00pm EST. You will receive voting instructions from PIPSC via email.
You will receive all the information concerning the offer of settlement by email in advance of the information session on June 17.
The offer of settlement terms require the bargaining team to either recommend the offer or to maintain neutrality throughout the ratification process. Accordingly, the bargaining team will not provide a voting recommendation on the offer of settlement.
A “No” vote means: You reject the offer of settlement and you approve further strike activity. You instruct your bargaining team to go back to the bargaining table with the Company. A “no” vote will result in the resumption of escalated strike actions against the Company.
A “Yes” vote means: You are accepting all of the changes proposed in the offer of settlement. This round of bargaining with the Company will be concluded and the agreement will be ratified. Strike actions will not resume.
The bargaining team will hold a hybrid information session on June 17 at 6:00 pm at the Chalk River Lions Hall. To attend via Zoom, please register well in advance of the event at: https://pipsc.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_T7x0U8CfRnmUlpBWxxNQfA.
In solidarity,
CRPEG Bargaining Team
