Update
- Call to Order
Giovanni Giolti: The President welcomed the members of the Executive and thanked them for being able to meet virtually with so little advance notice.
- Adoption of the Agenda
Giovanni moved and Nathalie Tremblay seconded the adoption of the agenda.
The agenda was adopted.
- Review and Approval of the Minutes of October 27, 2022
Nathalie mentioned that she had not finished drafting the minutes for October 27, 2022. We will therefore approve them later. Giovanni pointed out that he was not present and therefore couldn’t comment on or sign these minutes. In addition, the minutes of July 13, 2022, should be approved this evening. Giovanni proposed to adopt the minutes at a future meeting, after the AGM.
All agreed with this suggestion.
- Preparations for the AGM:
i. Nathalie will reserve the Casa Grecque restaurant for up to 40 people (to be confirmed). Menu choices will be varied. Thanks a lot, Nathalie!
ii. Giovanni mentioned the following:
- Unfortunately, since there was no AGM in 2022, there are no minutes of the 2022 AGM and no election.
- Since the last election took place in November 2021, the only position to be clarified would be Érick’s. So, we don’t need an election committee this year. Érick agreed to continue and mentioned that if any member volunteer, a vote will be held at the AGM in accordance with the By-Laws.

3. Frédérick will have to prepare the 2022 post mortem and the 2023–2024 budget. All agreed to include at least one activity (BBQ or meeting during the Public Service Week — to be determined).
4. Guests at the AGM: Giovanni mentioned that he will send an e-mail asking either Pierre Touchette or Steven Fréchette from the IT group to come and give an update on negotiations. It could also be Steve Malenfant, since he’s a member of the Region’s IT group as well as a member of the Québec executive.
5. E-mails to members and posting on the website: Giovanni mentioned that he will send this tomorrow, given the early date. The website is now ready for registration on SurveyMonkey; all that’s left to do is open it.
