Welcome remarks. Mike (Pres) opens the meeting welcoming everyone (new and old exec). Enthusiastic to see more members have stepped up to join the branch executive.

Old business – Reports from the AGM are that the AGM was a bit chaotic. There was fear that we were not going to have one and we had very little time to plan. There was noted confusion during second part, especially with the voting. The swag was also a tad inadequate as the sizing of the clothing was not representative of the members.

Mike (Pres) asks to accept Sabrina Labbé back as a member at large as she was missed during the AGM nomination period. All members vote yes. Sabrina is back in the Executive.

Mike (Pres) asks if we have any volunteers for the following positions: Treasurer, Secretary & Social Media Coordinator. Grant Heryet volunteers as Treasurer. Sabrina Labbé volunteers for Secretary & Social Media Coordinator. All members agree.

Mike (Pres) proposes the Executive Committee meeting schedule for end September, early December, March, and tentative AGM date for the second Tuesday, April 2023.

Benefit members: we should try to get more messages out there for our members. Looking for branch level intel and/or branch level lunch & learns (retirement?)

Social media vs using the newsletter: Branch newsletter is on hold for now. We will explore the Facebook page as an open & public page so that members without Facebook can still view and read the page.

Stephan - branding needs, prize disbursement, and Basic Steward Training (how to get on the list?)

Grant – presents the Treasurer reports: Treasurer report on the allotment for 2022 including the Legacy Fund, the swag purchase and balance.  

Also confirms that we can give out gift cards as door prizes
