NAV CANADA BARGAINING UPDATE – OCTOBER 2019

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group Bargaining Team was in meetings with NAV CANADA from October 7-10, 2019. On Friday October 11, 2019 our team worked in closed meetings on our bargaining priorities. This round was productive and we had healthy discussions on numerous items and positive progress was made.  The parties have scheduled negotiations for the week of October 28 to November 1, 2019.

 

NAV CANADA BARGAINING UPDATE – SEPTEMBER 2019

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group bargaining team was in bargaining preparation on Wednesday, September 11, 12 and 13, 2019 in Ottawa. During these three productive days, the team continued to build our proposal package for this round of bargaining.  

We look forward to working with NAV CANADA starting on October 7 to 11, 2019 in Wakefield Quebec to commence this round of negotiations.

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group bargaining team was in bargaining preparation on Monday July 29, 30 and 31 in Ottawa. During these three productive days the team reviewed the survey results once again in addition to the complaints and grievances that arose since 2017.

A Call for nominations was held on Feb 26, 2019. The Election Committee had received four valid nominations for the positions on the NAV CANADA Group Executive.

Therefore, no election was necessary, and the following candidates were acclaimed in their corresponding positions effective Monday, June 3rd, 2019.

The positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are for a three-year term:
