Voting on our tentative agreement ended today- March 04, 2020 at 12:00. The majority of the PIPSC NAV CANADA Group members have voted in favor of accepting the tentative agreement. Therefore, our tentative agreement has been ratified with NAV CANADA to renew the collective agreement and becomes effective immediately. The parties will meet as quickly as possible to sign the new collective agreement. More details to follow

You are invited to participate in the NAV CANADA Executive elections, members like you who will work to enhance your terms and conditions of employment.

The current mandate for some of your NAV CANADA Group executive will end on Sunday, May 31st, 2020. Therefore our By-Laws require us to call for nominations. The successful candidates will be elected for 3-year terms commencing on Monday, June 1st, 2020.

Nominations are now invited for three member-at-large positions. To be a candidate a person must be a Regular member, or Retired member, in good standing.

NAV CANADA BARGAINING UPDATE – JANUARY 2020

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group Bargaining Team was in preparation meetings on January 13 and 14, 2020 to review our bargaining priorities.  We then met with NAV CANADA from January 15- 17, 2020.   

This round was very productive, and the parties were able to resolve most non-monetary issues. 

We will be meeting from February 3-7, 2020 with NAV CANADA to continue negotiations. 

NAV CANADA BARGAINING UPDATE – NOVEMBER 2019

 

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group Bargaining Team was in meetings with NAV CANADA from October 28- November 1, 2019.   This round continued to be productive and the parties exchanged various presentations related to our bargaining interests.  

We will be meeting on December 5, 2019 and January 13-14, 2020 without NAV CANADA to review our bargaining strategy and priorities.  The parties will meet again on January 15, 16 and 17, 2020 to continue negotiations.
