PIPSC is selecting a President of Consultation for the Transport Canada National Consultation Team (NCT). The term of the President will be for two years and the duties are outlined in the PIPSC Policy on Union-Management Relations: Consultation and Co-development. Applicants must also be free to travel to Ottawa as required if residing outside of the National Capital Region.

Bargaining Update for PIPSC AU-CO-PG Classification Members

  1. On February 4th, the Strategic Bargaining Committee (comprised of PIPSC representatives of Canadian Public Service employees and PIPSC President Daviau) met to update the strategy to reach an agreement in a timely manner.
  2. Also on February 4th, your AV Group Bargaining Team met internally to finalize preparations for the following day’s meeting with Treasury Board.
  3. On February 5th to 7th in Ottawa, we met with Treasury Board and presented the entirety of our position.

On February 6, 2019, PIPSC President Debi Daviau and Steward Éric Massey, Nurse at the Archambault Institution in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Quebec appeared before the Senate Standing Committee on Human Rights to discuss the issues faced by our members at correctional institutions across Canada, in particular those of our health care services members (SH Group).
